Sarah Althea Hill, and San Francisco and California history collected by Alexander Thomas Leonard, Jr. Includes material on the Barbary Coast, Ambrose Bierce, ranchos, an announcement for Mark Twain's 1868 farewell lecture at the New Mercantile Library, letterhead and a 1934 program from the Emperor Norton Memorial Association. Contains several of Leonard's membership cards to various clubs and associations. Includes clippings related to birds, and one article on Kansas cow towns.
